Kabab2Go Uptown carries on a 70-year-old Lebanese culinary tradition that began in Tripoli, Lebanon, when the Soufi brothers founded their restaurant in 1951. Chef Rocky Jokbengboon graduated from Johnson & Wales University in Charlotte class of 15’ with experience in NYC, with Michelin Chefs, and even studying in Australia. With Chef Rocky in the kitchen and Esthela in marketing, this young team started with their first location in Orlando, FL. Since then, they have opened Sosu in East Charlotte and moved the Orlando location to Rock Hill, SC. Both restaurants specialize in ramen. Now Chef Rocky is looking to pay homage to his heritage by opening a restaurant focused on Laotian Cuisine.
